The Salem Intertribal Project is an initiative led by the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians to build Oregon’s first and only inter-tribal gaming facility.
Scheduled to open in 2021, the entertainment, gaming and hotel facility will be built on the Confederated Tribe of Siletz Indian’s reservation property located off of Interstate 5, exit 258. Once complete the 140,000-square foot facility is anticipated to generate 1,500 full-time jobs and $184.5 million in revenue the first year in operation.
We are currently working closely with fellow Tribes throughout Oregon to establish partners who want to be a part of this unique opportunity to grow our State economy and improve the lives of all Tribal members.
The Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians will share an unprecedented 25 percent of the net gaming revenue with state and local government, while splitting the remaining funds across the participating tribes.
